Community Based Connections, Inc. (CBCI) is a nonprofit human services organization founded upon 20 years of expertise in delivering youth development, family strengthening, and community empowerment services to hard to serve populations in Broward County. Our mission is to expand the available options for helping children to be socially and academically successful despite the many challenges they face and regardless of the many negative influences around them.

Health & Resource Hub Grand Openings – September 3, 2025
Community-Based Connections, Inc., in partnership with Broward County Public Schools, is proud to announce the grand openings of two new Health & Resource Hubs and Wellness Centers designed to connect students, families, and the community with essential health and wellness services.
The celebrations will take place on September 3, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, followed by a 2:30 PM ribbon-cutting at William Dandy Middle School in Fort Lauderdale. These innovative centers will serve as vital community touchpoints—providing access to health resources, support programs, and partnerships that foster well-being, equity, and success for all.
Both events will feature ribbon-cutting ceremonies and opportunities to learn more about the services available through these hubs. All community members, partners, and supporters are invited to join us in celebrating this important step toward a healthier and more connected Broward County.
